Alice’s Heart is named in honor of our founder’s mother, Alice—a woman whose heart has always been her greatest gift. The kind of person who shows up without being asked, gives without expecting anything in return, and somehow finds a way to care for everyone around her. Her compassion isn’t something she turns on and off—it is simply who she is.

That spirit became the foundation of this organization.

Because we believe every mother, every baby, and every family deserves to experience that same kind of unwavering care.

At Alice’s Heart, compassion is more than a value—it is our standard. We believe that when people feel seen, supported, and loved, lives change. Every program we create is rooted in the belief that no family should have to navigate pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, or loss alone.

Our founder’s own maternal health journey—including pregnancy complications, postpartum challenges, and the heartbreaking loss of her daughter, Olivia—revealed just how many families fall through the cracks. Those experiences transformed personal pain into purpose and inspired a commitment to ensure other families have the support they deserve.

Today, Alice’s Heart works to advance maternal health equity by providing education, advocacy, direct support, and community-based programs that improve outcomes for mothers, babies, and families.

From distributing essential baby items through Olivia’s Herd, to empowering mothers to know their blood pressure through HeartStrong Mothers, to connecting families with trusted community resources and partnerships, every initiative is designed with one goal in mind:“To meet families with compassion, dignity, and practical support when they need it most.”

We know maternal health extends far beyond the delivery room.
