Meet Alicia, the heart behind Alice’s Heart.
I never imagined my life would lead here. Like so many women, I dreamed of building a family. What I didn't know was how deeply motherhood would shape not only my life, but my purpose. Over the years, I experienced pregnancy complications, postpartum challenges, and moments that tested my faith in ways I never expected.
Then, in 2020, my daughter Olivia was stillborn at 36 weeks. No words can truly describe that kind of loss. Years later, after welcoming my son Noah following another high-risk pregnancy, I found myself facing many of the same challenges that so many mothers experience—recovering physically, navigating postpartum life, managing my health, and trying to care for my family while making sense of everything I'd lived through.
Those experiences opened my eyes to something much bigger than my own story. I realized that families everywhere were navigating pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and loss without enough support, education, or advocacy. That had to change.
Alice's Heart was born from both heartbreak and hope. I named the organization after my mother, Alice. She has spent her life loving people with extraordinary generosity, always putting others before herself and showing me what compassion truly looks like. Her heart became the foundation. My journey became the mission. Together, they became Alice's Heart.
